These aren't hard to do and they are even easier to screw up. If you have the timing only two teeth off you will bend valves when you turn it over so you need to be exact and correct the first time. I highly recommend using some sort of diagram. I still do after doing them for twelve years and it helps big time. Also there are plated links on the chain that should aid in the timing alignment.
