Is it possible to run water pump on solar system?

Hi

I want to operate motor which require to collect water from land under 1300 ft. I want to run that motor on solar system rather than on electricity. I do not know how much walt needed to operate it?

can u give me your idea and information in this matter? Is it possible to run water pump on solar system?if you have a 1300 foot deep well, you will need to lift the water at some flow rate. The power needed is proportional to flow rate. so you can calculate the energy needed to lift a mass of 1 kg/min of H2O 1300 feet (396 m) the potential energy is

m*h/min = 396kg-m/min per kg water

1 watt is equal to 6.11829727787 kg-m/min

to have a flow of 1 kg/min you will need to have a power source of 396/6.11 = 64.7w for each kg of water

a gallon is about 3.6 kg, so for 1 gal/min from a 1300 foot deep well you will need about 235 watts

there will be some losses in the system and you might get 50% overall efficiency, thus you will need to have about 500 w solar power to get the flow of 1 gal per minute from a 1300 foot deep well. you can scale the power directly from the 1 gal per min example of to get your required flow.Is it possible to run water pump on solar system? There are a variety of pumps that operate on solar power.

Do a Google.

How to change the water pump pontiac grand am 3.1 V6?

my car is leaking anti-freez from what look like to be the head on the back side of the block but i was told that it most likly is the water pump. I just hade the water pump changed last year by a friend. So i dont know how to replace it. It looks like the housing for the water pump is realy big, looks like it covers alot of the motor by the pullys.any help would be coolHow to change the water pump pontiac grand am 3.1 V6?I have a grand am 3.1 v6 and I had the same problem and it is not the waterpump, its a blown intake gasket which is very common on this engine , as a matter of fact it has blown it twice in 142,000 miles, better get it fixed immediately or you will be replacing the engine shortly, check your oil for water as thats where it will go.The cost of the repair is around $600.How to change the water pump pontiac grand am 3.1 V6?The water pump on my 3.1 is located on the front right corner of the block (standing at the passenger side). If you have coolant leaking from the back side of the motor it is not the water pump. Are you sure that it's coming from the block and not from a heater hose? Your heater hose's go in through the lower-middle of fire wall behind the motor(be sure to check the metal lines as well). How to change the water pump pontiac grand am 3.1 V6?If it is leaking from the back side of the block then it is more than likely not the water pump. The water pump only leaks from its mating surface to the engine block, or most commonly, through a drip hole located directly under the water pump drive shaft. A leak on the back side could be a blown head gasket. You should verify where the exact leak is before you start replacing a bunch of stuff. How to change the water pump pontiac grand am 3.1 V6?There is a weep hole on the bottom of all water pumps, this lets you know that the bearing in the water pump is worn out by dripping a small amount of coolant. Most auto parts stores will rent or let you use a cooling system pressure tester, which will pressurize your cooling system and let you look around the engine without it running or being to hot to get close to. There are plenty of manuals that will walk you through changing the pump, its really not too hard.

How to teardown and rebuild my leaking YFZ450 water pump?

thanks ive gotta 05 yfz450 and its been leaking from the weep hole. i found out that its the wate pump seal so i ordered all the parts i need and now i just wanna a lead into the right direction of how to do this? Thanks! How to teardown and rebuild my leaking YFZ450 water pump?it's really easy but if you've never done it before get a buddy to lend a hand, don;t over tighten anything and be sure to use the sealer the kit comes with if it doesn't just be sure not to kink the gasket and oring ( my 450 had one) takes about an hour to do or less. If you don't have a torque wrench they rent that at autozone. You can put in better bolts install of screws as well to make the next job easier if you ever have to do it again. How to teardown and rebuild my leaking YFZ450 water pump?..

Does anyone know just a rough guess the cost of fixing a water pump on a 2001 Ford Focus?

Supposedly on my moms car..the water pump blew up and broke the hoses...

so i was wondering how much this would cost to fix?Does anyone know just a rough guess the cost of fixing a water pump on a 2001 Ford Focus?you did not say if was a dual cam or single cam motor .labor higher for dual . water pump about 100.00 , timing belt must come off for this and you should change it. kit will have belt and pulleys needed it cost about 200.00 hoses cost about 20.00 each coolant about 10.00 a gallon labor can be from 3 to 4 hours to do most shops charge around 75.00 per hour around hereDoes anyone know just a rough guess the cost of fixing a water pump on a 2001 Ford Focus?I expect the parts (water pump, hoses, timing belt, and serpentine belt) would cost between $125 and $175 and labor would cost between $200 and $300. I know that is a pretty broad estimate but the cost will vary depending on the hourly labor rates in your area and whether the work is done by a independent shop or a dealership.

Can't get it loose. what tool should I sure to loosen it from water pump. How do you unattach the hose to the water pump of Ford Windsar van. seems to be wedged together? If memory serves, the hose should be attached to a fitting which screws into the water pump. I think the fitting must be unscrewed and then the hose can be removed from the fitting. Usually the hose wedges into those type fittings with a small clip. Hope that helps! How do you unattach the hose to the water pump of Ford Windsar van. seems to be wedged together?Pry it off with a flat head screwdriver.

Can someone eplain to me how the water pump works on an outboard motor?

i took off the lower unit to fix the gears. im not sure ill be able to put it back on with out knowing how things work in there.

so how exactly does the water get pumped. and what does it have to do with the gears, because even though the prop wasn't turning, the water was still pumping.

thanks. Can someone eplain to me how the water pump works on an outboard motor? The driveshaft is always turning. A pinion gear at the bottom of the driveshaft spins the forward and reverse gears, which are freewheeling (in opposite directions) on the prop shaft.

The %26quot;clutch dog%26quot; is splined and/or pinned to the propshaft, and moved forward (to mesh with the forward gear) or aft (to mesh with the reverse gear) by the %26quot;clutch dog cradle%26quot;, which is moved by the up or down motion of the shift rod.

The backside of the forward %26amp; reverse gears are machined with square corners that mesh with the clutch dog. So, the engine turns the driveshaft, the driveshaft turns the gears, the gears turn the clutchdog, and the dog turns the propshaft.

Meanwhile, as mentioned, the drive shaft, which is always spinning, is also the water pump shaft.

The water pump has a neoprene impeller in a chromed housing; a very tight fit -- the vanes have to be bent over to fit. The center of the housing is offset from the shaft, so the compartments where water is drawn in get smaller as they rotate toward the discharge, which provides enough water pressure to force water through the engine even at idle speed.

The impeller is fit so tightly into the housing, that it will generate enough heat to melt and break up without a source of water -- it only takes about 30 seconds of dry running to seriously damage the impeller.

to fix the gears, you have to use a gear puller to pull the propshaft bearing carrier. The reverse gear will fall out. Reach in with a long box-end wrench to remove the pinion gear from the driveshaft, and pull the driveshaft bearing housing out with the driveshaft. When you remove the shift rod, the prop shaft, forward gear, clutch dog etc should be accessible.

There's a lot of complicated steps to accomplish each of the above, and some critical measurements with near-zero tolerance.

Don't do it without a factory service manual in hand. Can someone eplain to me how the water pump works on an outboard motor? The drive shaft turns with the engine and turns the impeller which picks up water and pushes it into the power head and exhaust%26gt; There is a pick up in the foot%26gt;Can someone eplain to me how the water pump works on an outboard motor? What make?model etc. that is the first step, then contact maker for

How do i replace water pump for 1993 oldsmobile royale 88?

coolant leaking from weep hole on water pump need to know what i need to remove to replace or should i call mechanicHow do i replace water pump for 1993 oldsmobile royale 88?disconnect battery, drain the radiator of coolant, move it out of the way, then remove the fan shroud that has a top section and a bottom section, once you have that out of the way, remove the upper and lower radiator hoses, the heater hoses that connect to the water pump too, now remove the fan from the water pump

you might have either ac, alternator or power steering in the way, and have other bolts. but basically after you have all the rest of the engine removed it is easy to get the water pump off. clean all new surface area's where gaskets touch , use indian head gasket sealer, its the best kind, when you put the new water pump on the engine make sure all the old gaskets are removed and wire brush the water pump housing, use gasket sealer, let it dry ,then put all the hoses back on, the power steering, alternator etc, all back in place, fill up the radiator, let it get to 190% temp, and make sure the thermostat opens, then you know everythings working,How do i replace water pump for 1993 oldsmobile royale 88?Take an autoshop class. How do i replace water pump for 1993 oldsmobile royale 88?its better to have someone show you instead of tell you

How can i set up an electrical water pump in irrigation project (Describe Brifely)?

I want to set up an electrical pump in our irrigation plant area which is in village (Bangladesh) , So i need the idea how i can steup it and what will be the total costing for this kind of project. How can i set up an electrical water pump in irrigation project (Describe Brifely)?First you need to detemine how many liters per hour are needed, and how many meters the water must be lifted.

Then, where do you get the electricity? Can you connect to the grid, or do you need a generator?

Finally, do you need to make any dams or channels? How long? What type of terrain?

Good luck! How can i set up an electrical water pump in irrigation project (Describe Brifely)?First of all, a bit of orientation about what we are talking about:

A motor driven centrifugal pump characterized by a unique housing, motor and impeller which provide the pump with a simple low-cost construction, compact size, quiet operation and other features that adapt the pump for use in a trailer, camper or the like for pumping water from a storage tank to a tap or other outlet.

A centrifugal pump converts the input power to kinetic energy in the liquid by accelerating the liquid by a revolving device - an impeller. The most common type is the 'volute pump'. Fluid enters the pump through the eye of the impeller which rotates at high speed. The fluid is accelerated radially outward from the pump casing. A vacuum is created at the impellers eye that continuously draws more fluid into the pump.

Pressure and Head: If the discharge of a centrifugal pump is pointed straight up into the air the fluid will pump to a certain height - or head - called the 'shut off head'. This maximum head is mainly determined by the outside diameter of the pump's impeller and the speed of the rotating shaft. The head will change as the capacity of the pump is altered.

The main reason for using head instead of pressure to measure a centrifugal pump's energy is that the pressure from a pump will change if the specific gravity (weight) of the liquid changes, but the head will not.

It is important to understand that the pump will pump all fluids to the same height if the shaft is turning at the same rpm. The only difference between the fluids is the amount of power it takes to get the shaft to the proper rpm. The higher the specific gravity of the fluid the more power is required.

Cost for single phase electric motor driven centrifugal pump for 1.5hp is about Tk 5,000/- by RFL. Cost for single phase electric motor driven centrifugal pump for 1.75hp is about Tk 8,000/- from KSB. Pedrolla pumps are in-between KSB %26amp; RFL prices.

Electric panel board, starters, wires would cost you another Tk. 5,000/- depending on what type and quality of starters you are planning to buy.

The boring cost with pipings for minimum 60 feet deep-well will cost you Tk. 12 to 15,000/-

3-inch Diameter intake and delivery pipe (total 120 feet PVC pipes) with 8hp electric motor would entail Tk. 60,000/- to Tk. 75,000/- for the installation. The running cost will be mostly to the electricity bills which has been subsidized by the government, but would come to around Tk. 3 per kilowatt-hour.

    Hope above would help.

You have to pretty much disassemble the who front end of the motor to get to it. If you have never done it and if you do not have much automotive experiance, Take it to a shop and have it done. It's better for you in the long run simply because if something gets messed up, the shop needs to take care of it. If you screw it up well you either have to go back in there or take it to a shop to have them fix it anyway. Now if you have a buddy thats good with cars have him help you with the project. 2 cases of beer and a pizza later and you'll be up and running again.

I had that checked out and the front end is good. I still have the rattle noise along with a high pitched, but not very loud, squeeling noise when I accelerate. I am leaking coolant and it seems to be coming from near one of the belts. Is this a bad water pump? If so how expensive of a fix is it and how involved of a repair is it?2000 Chevy Impala with a bad water pump?It sounds like a water pump or maybe a loose connection. It is probably time for a water pump if it hasn't been replaced yet. Parts will run under $60 and it probably involves an hour of labor. The Impala is a big car, it shouldn't be hard to get to and remove.

Taking it to a shop will run under $100-$150 for everything.

How much should it cost to get a water pump replaced?

This is for a 96 Nissan Centra....I was told I only needed a few hoses and an intake manifold but now this guy is finding more things and the price is skyrocketing!!! he wants to add on $300 to put on a new water pump...is he over charging me???How much should it cost to get a water pump replaced? The waterpump for your car from advanced auto parts is only 40 bucks, Labor should only run around 150.

But that is not the start of the problem, In all my years, I have never seen an intake manifold break. I think you got a hold of a hack mechanic. My advice is to have you car towed to another service shop, and ask for the old parts he took off of your car. Do not, I repeat DO NOT pay for any part he can not give you an old part for. Don't pay for the labor on said part either. How much should it cost to get a water pump replaced?Since the water pump is hidden behind the timing belt, you would need to disassemble a lot of the engine to get to it, so the labour cost is going to be very high even though the pump itself is quite cheap. I suggest changing your timing belt too, since you're going to have to pay the same amount of money for labour to replace it when it's next due... might as well get both done for the price of one.How much should it cost to get a water pump replaced?$300 for a water pump isn't bad if that includes parts. It cost me like $400+ to get a new water pump put in. I'd suggest you get the new water pump put in as you really do not want to know the consequences of having you water pump go out.

Can someone tell me how to stop a water pump leak.?

Replace the water pump and gasket. Can someone tell me how to stop a water pump leak.?Bubble gum but if you stop the water pump leak you will stop the pump its self then you will seize the engine and thats not good. Can someone tell me how to stop a water pump leak.?It's impossible to stop a water pump leak for more than a few days!!!! The leak is always from a bad internal pump shaft seal. ( behind the pully)

No %26quot;stop leak%26quot; additive will stop the leak for more than a few days, and then a few days later , after you have forgotten about it, and unknown to you, ALL the water will leak out.

You MUST get a new water pump because if you don't you will lose water, the engine will overheat and boil over, then the engine head gasket will blow, the head will crack, the piston will seize up in the cylinder and your engine will be ruinned beyond repair and you will need a new engine!!!

Then you will have a $5,000 repair bill instead of a $150. repair bill for a new water pump!!!Can someone tell me how to stop a water pump leak.?You can use some sort of Stop Leak, but the fix is not meant to last long. The water pump has rubber seals on its shaft that wear out over many miles, and a stop leak product can't fix that! I suggest replacing the water pump pronto! Overheating, and running your vehicle without coolant can cause major damage to your engine! I think overheating is worse than driving your vehicle until the oil light comes on.

When the engine gets so hot it stops running, that's when the pistons expand to the point they will not move in the cylinders and stick until the engine cools enough. They will be all scuffed. The compression will be lost. Oh, why didn't they tell you to not drive the car until the water pump was fixed? Now, your engine is probably so messed up it needs a complete overhaul. That tells you how long you can drive with the condition. I'm so sorry for your loss. How long can you drive with a water pump leak?About 20 minutes max depending upon the size of the leak. About 2 minutes with a major leak, just enough time to get the car off the road and onto the shoulder.

Your reservoir level will only go down if the car is shut off and allowed to cool. Any fluid that is missing in the cooling system will be drawn into the radiator from the reservoir.

I presume you actually see coolant puddling under the car.

With little power as you describe, you may have already ruined the engine. Hold last rites over it.How long can you drive with a water pump leak?Because you have a leak in the water pump, the recovery reservoir will not function correctly and you have run out of coolant in the engine. If you drive very far when the engine is overheated, you are damaging the engine beyond repair.

It needs to be fixed now before you drive it anymore. How long can you drive with a water pump leak?not very long my friend. to eliminate more problems. get it fix asap. How long can you drive with a water pump leak?it must not be leaking too much for the reservoir not going down any. if your water pump is leaking then it will get worse as you drive.

Ejector pump tank full of water, after replacement with a new one, why?

In my basement, there is an ejector pump to pump water to the sewer. It pumped water very slowly. I called a plumber, and he told me I need to replace the ejector pump. He charged me $550 for this job.

Two days after, the pump is not working, the water continued to go thru the pump and won't stop. We had to turn off the pump to stop the continued water pumping.

The plumber came again today and he said there are two problems, that he did not diagnose before:

    1) In the room where the water softener is, there is one pipe that is connected to ejector pump, there is a blockage in the pipe, which slowed down the pumping water out to the sewer. He has fixed this blockage today.

    2) The 2nd issue is the container/tub (ejector pump tank) was full of water, and he is not sure why that happened. He said the tank was not full of water, the first time when he came last week to give estimate. But when he came the 2nd time to replace the ejector pump, he said the tank was full of water, so as today. He asked us to keep an eye on it, in case the tank is full of water again.

I do not like his answer, that means he does not know how to fix it, and charged me with $550. Can you help with this situation. Do you know what could possibly wrong to cause the ejector pump tank to be full of water, even after he replaced with a new ejector pump. ThanksEjector pump tank full of water, after replacement with a new one, why?there is a float that controls how high the water gets before the pump kicks on and how low it gets before pump kicks off...if the tank is filling up past the normal full line then the float system is bad....the blockage was probably the only problem you had originally...it is possible it wasn't full the first time he came because the pump was running and since it was blocked off partially it could not shut off since it couldnt remove the water correctly....after he removed the blockage and replaced the pump all that controls anything is the floats that control the pump kick on and off

How does the level of a well affect the work (Horsepower) that a water pump has to do in a lift station?

I am dealing with a centrifugal or positive displacement pump where the setpoint can be change in this case increase the well level posibly to decrease horsepower used. How does the level of a well affect the work (Horsepower) that a water pump has to do in a lift station?well, (heh),

lifting a mass m of anything a height h against the force of gravity requires an amount of energy that is equal to E = mgh, where g is the acceleration of gravity - 9.8 m/s^2.

the power comes from dividing by how long it takes to do this - power is energy / time. so P = mgh/t. that means the pump requires that much power to do so.

so, if you decrease h in the above equation, the power goes down. it is a linear relationship, so if you halve the height over which you are pumping, you halve the amount of power required.

note that this ignores the frictional nature of water, which is reasonable if the water is not moving very fast in the pump or pipes. if it is, you have a more complicated problem.

How much time/money to replace the radiator & water pump?

For my 2000 Mazda 626 i4, I know the radiator is about $140 and the pump $60, so I'm wondering about the labor.

How long should it take a professional mechanic to do?

(besides the usual draining, seals, gaskets and all, also need to remove the drivebelts in this models.)How much time/money to replace the radiator %26amp; water pump?Around 2 hours is the recommended charging time for this repair.

Most garages make their money on the product. Their buying price can be around 1/3rd. off retail price (sometimes more). What you are paying is TOP WHACK. We have a Mazda dealership. Our recc. price is $100 and $38 for the items mentioned..........and we make a profit. Many Mazda dealers operate an exchange scheme.... a recon. part for your old unit. This is much cheaper......and they are guaranteed.

  • Why does a car water pump fail?

I'm using an old Mitsubishi Lancer. Recently I changed my water pump it was leaking.

To me it looked like a piece of metal, with a small fan thing (not motorized) How can it fail? There is no mechanics to it, just like a pipe with a fan (or turbine)

I also messed with my radiator, I unhooked the main hose to clean out the coolant, since the plug was jammed. Could this have contributed to the failing of my water pump? Why does a car water pump fail? The water pump has a gasket inside to stop coolant from leaking out. When the gasket fails, coolant comes out of what is called a weep hole. If you don't replace the water pump, the bearing gets saturated with coolant and fails. When the bearing fails, the water pump pulley ceases and the belt fails. I have seen this too many times. Why does a car water pump fail? That fan thing is called an impeller and when it spins it pumps coolant through the motor and radiator to keep it cool. It spins off a belt that is connected to the crankshaft pully and possiabley the alternator. That impeller and shaft spin on sealed roller bearings. These bearing will last a a lot of miles but they will wear out, and when they do the shaft moves out of round and wears out the seal that keeps the coolant from leaking out past the shaft. Over tighting of the drive belt will wear out the bearinge prematurley, but a pump will usually last 100,000 milesWhy does a car water pump fail?if the radiator is clogged up, the water pump cant circulate the water. Why does a car water pump fail?if the plug was jammed then the most likely cause was some type of sealant someone put in the radiator to fix a leak......this is a prime example of why I say never to use the sealers in your engine.......

what happened to your water pump is really rather simple......the waterpump (WP) is a simple device that spins and has bearings......the coolant you buy in the store has lubricants in it to keep the waterpump luricated.....the sealer that was put into the cooling system sealed of the passages the coolant uses to lubricate the WP bearings......this created too much friction and wore your bearing out causing the pump to fail!!!!!!......you need to flush the cooling system thoroughly several times to get all the sealer out......even then it will take a little luck and lots of praying for the sealer not to plug your engine water jacket and cause overheating!!! good luck!!!

  • Any advise on what would be the easiest way to replace a water pump?

For a Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up. Not taking it to a mechanic.

Already got the new pump. Got part of the engine off.

Dont exactly have the right tools to make the job go fast but would like some tips on how to make it go faster..Any advise on what would be the easiest way to replace a water pump?Honestly having the Chilton or Hayes repair manual will help greatly in understanding how it should all come apart. They run about $25.00 at you auto parts store. Having the proper tools will make the job go as smooth and quickly as possible. Most basic kits and be picked up at auto part stores for around 65.00 bucks. This is the best advice I can give a beginner who has just jumped right in there. Watch what you are taking apart and make sure that it is something that HAS to come off. There is no reason taking something out of the car if it's not going to help the project. When you picked up the water pump did you make sure to get too new radiator hoses? I will often replace the upper and lower hose when I do water pumps. Most likely they have been on there as long as the pump and it's time to change them. Not to mention now would be a great time to replace the thermostat on the engine as well to allow proper water flow through the engine. Also make sure you have the distilled water handy with the anti-freeze. Using distilled water keeps the radiator from becoming clogged with minerals that are normally found in your city water. It helps extend the life of your cooling system. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions feel free to E-mail me.Any advise on what would be the easiest way to replace a water pump?If you've got the fan off you have the hardest part done on that vehicle, follow the manuals and line the parts up as you remove them.Be sure to put the bolts with the part they belong to and install them in the reverse order you took them off.

How do you start a water pump?

we live in the country in the warm months and have a portable pump that takes water from a 15 foot deep well. It feeds water to a toilet and a hot water tank mostly and a sink and shower and washer. We put the pump outside the bathroom and need to know how to start it, thanks! How do you start a water pump?Make sure the foot valve is working. Fill the pump and the suction hose with water. Start the pump. It should pic-up and pump. Its very important that the foot valve holds when the pump shuts down. Good luckHow do you start a water pump? There are so many different kinds, brands, types of pumps available for the purpose you're stating that it's not even funny, but for the purposes of this forum we will have to assume that it's a standard shallow well jet pump that draws water up from the ground and pushes it out the other side of the pump. Just in case you've never heard of the FOOT valve, it's what we've always called a check valve. It goes in the line coming up from the ground to stop the flow of water going back down the pipe once it's up and past the valve. That's what makes the pump keep it's prime, which is what you're actually asking, how to prime a pump. You'll need to open a pipe going into the top of the pump and pour enough water into it to make sure it's got plenty in the front casing. The pump shouldn't run dry. Once you're sure there's water in the casing then plug in or turn on the pump motor and continue to pour water into the pipe till it starts squirting out the top profusely. Then you can cap up the pipe and it should pump. If need be you can repeat till it catches. How do you start a water pump?I'm assuming it is an electric pump? You must be talking about priming the pump. You should add water to the system to create suction. How do you start a water pump?Lonzo has it right

How to diagnose a water pump problem?

car smelled like its riunning hot all the time, water leaks, have to place water in coolant tank every day. new thermstat, slow take offs and making grinding noises while pressing gas pedal. How to diagnose a water pump problem?First find your leak. Generally if all your gaskets and hose connections are ok, the only place left on the waterpump itself to lose water is through the bearing behind the fan pulley. If that's the case then a new/changeover waterpump is needed. I don't know of any these days that have rebuild kits. If you're having a go at this yourself, when you take the belt, fan and pulley off, turn the waterpump by hand and feel for any uneveness, (small bumpiness) It should turn perfectly freely and completely smooth. If you feel there is the smallest catch of resistance, get another one.

Post another question with the make, model and engine type. How do I know if it's my well water pump, thermostat or water heater?

There is no water at all! What can we do to troubleshoot this before calling a Plumber? This is the first time this has happened and we never had a well before. Please help (serious answers only)How do I know if it's my well water pump, thermostat or water heater? You can rule out the thermostat. If you have no water at all the thermostat has no control over water pressure. The water heater also has no control over water flow, other than what comes from the water heater to the faucet. If you have no water at all that would indicate one of two things. The pump isn't pumping or the well has gone dry. Hopefully it's the pump. Your best option is to call a plumber as much as you don't want to. On the pump is an on off switch that could possibly have shut off due to a power surge. You should be able to flip this switch and get things back to normal if that is the problem. Also, once when I had no water and didn't know what to do about it I called a friend who did. The problem was no more than a loose wire on the pump. Reconnecting the wire made all the difference and saved a huge plumber's bill. You might go online and with the name and serial number of the pump find the on off switch and any other description of any parts. Hope this helps. How do I know if it's my well water pump, thermostat or water heater? If you have no water at all, it is probably the pump. Check the circuit breaker for the pump before you do anything else. If the breaker hasn't been tripped, check the pressure guage (if there is one) near the well. If there is no pressure, it is definitely the pump. If the pump is operational (if it is operational, the guage will show a pressure reading), there could be a blockage in the pipe between the well and the house. How do I know if it's my well water pump, thermostat or water heater?use a voltage meter and check that you have power across each switch

but first have a look at your fuse panel and then at the valves in your system to be sure everything is turned on.How do I know if it's my well water pump, thermostat or water heater? It's not your water heater. It's not the thermostat. Check that the circuit breaker or fuse to the well is not off or tripped. (If it is a circuit breaker, turn it all the way off firmly and then back on.) If it was tripped, it probably tripped for a reason and you'll eventually have to find the reason. If the circuit breaker is not tripped and/or fuses aren't blown, there may be a problem with the pressure switch which is the device that turns the pump on and off in response to water pressure. Not something amateurs should fool around with. How do I know if it's my well water pump, thermostat or water heater?Well, if you dn't have any water, it's not the water heater or the thermostat, it's got to be the pump. How do i restart a shorted out water pump?

my basement flooded and the water came in contact with the wiring on my water pump. Now the pump tries to turn on but shuts off without pumping any water. How do i get my pump pumping water again? How do i restart a shorted out water pump?sounds like not only did it come in contact withe wiring but also with the pump, when your working with electricity you need to be very careful and have the right tools to do the job with.

to start this job you need a multi testing meter, this will let you check things like amp, volts, ohms, you know things that comes in contact with the pump and wiring, you didn't say what the voltage is on this pump,so first i'd find out what that is and make sure you have that going to the pump, then if so make sure the pump isn't froze or locked up,next go to the breaker box and locate the breaker for the pump, and test to see how many amps the pump is pulling when turned on.then find out if there is anything restricting the pump from doing its job,it may be something as simple as a run capacitor or even a shorted or burnt wire, but first make sure you have the correct voltage and amperage going to and coming out of the motor, once you get that taken care of you may need to prime the pump in order to get it pumping againHow do i restart a shorted out water pump?sounds like the bearings locked up...best to replace itHow do i restart a shorted out water pump? What kind of pump (ie sump, submersible, shallow well). If it just hums and the shaft doesn't turn its probably the capacitor($25 at johnson controls) or it could be one leg of your 240v breaker tripped(check voltage at breaker and wiring)

    Disconnect the negative battery cable.

    CAUTION

Never open, service or drain the radiator or cooling system when hot; serious burns can occur from the steam and hot coolant. Also, when draining engine coolant, keep in mind that cats and dogs are attracted to ethylene glycol antifreeze and could drink any that is left in an uncovered container or in puddles on the ground. This will prove fatal in sufficient quantities. Always drain coolant into a sealable container. Coolant should be reused unless it is contaminated or is several years old.

Drain the radiator and recycle the engine coolant.

    NOTE

The following steps require the use of a strap wrench to hold the water pump pulley while loosening and tightening the bolts. If a strap wrench is not available, loosen the bolts before removing the drive belts. The drive belt tension will help keep the pulley from turning while loosening the bolts.

Remove the A/C compressor, alternator, and water pump/power steering pump drive belts.

Use a strap wrench to hold the water pump pulley and loosen the four water pump pulley bolts.

Remove the water pump pulley bolts and remove the pulley.

Raise and safely support the front of the vehicle securely on jackstands.

Remove the crankshaft pulley. Please refer to Crankshaft Pulley, Removal and Installation for the procedure.

Remove the five lower timing belt cover bolts and remove the cover.

Remove the six water pump bolts. Note the location of the water pump stud/bolt to ensure proper installation on reassembly.

    Remove the water pump.

    To install:

The installation is the reverse of removal, but please note the following important steps.

Clean the block surface and the water pump mating surface if the old pump is to be reinstalled. A gasket scraper and solvent may be used, however, be careful not to nick or gouge either surface.

Apply a continuous bead of RTV silicone sealant 0.08?.12 inch (2.0?.0mm) wide to the water pump mating surface.

    NOTE

Allow the sealant to dry for at least 30 minutes before adding coolant.

Install the water pump and start all of the bolts. Be sure that the water pump stud/bolt is in the proper location.

Tighten the water pump bolts to 12?5 ft. lbs. (16?1 Nm).

Tighten the lower timing belt cover bolts to 27?4 inch lbs. (3? Nm).

Tighten the crankshaft pulley bolt to 141?56 ft. lbs. (191?11 Nm).

Tighten the water pump pulley bolts to 12?5 ft. lbs. (16?1 Nm).

Run the engine and check for leaks.

Buy a mag-drive pump, they are usually the best choice.

These sites also sell weir boxes that help provide a smooth flow of water at the start of the water fall and are rated for various flow rates. This way if you have an idea how wide you want the fall to be, you can control it by the weir box you purchase.I need to buy a submersible water pump for a pondless waterfall. I have a 1996 ford explorer with a bad heater core and water pump?

1996 Ford explorer 5.0 v8 how can i replace the heater core and the water pump and are there any manuals that really show you how to get it doneI have a 1996 ford explorer with a bad heater core and water pump?If you had a 94 you'd be ok, but the 96 requires taking the whole dash apart to replace the core. Not a job for the fainthearted or sober.

If you don't fix it right away you should at least bypass the heater core so you don't lose pressure to the system.I have a 1996 ford explorer with a bad heater core and water pump?Yes there are manuals, but they usually are not very detailed as they assume some mechanical knowledge. The water pump is pretty straightforward, as you have to drain the radiator and remove the stuff in the way in order to get to the pump. Just do not get to carried away using too much gasket sealer and use never seize on the bolts as they are going into an aluminum block, and torque to spec. eveningly. The heater core is not to bad and do this at the same time. Remove the heater hose from the core pipes in the engine compartment and then remove the core from under the dash on the passenger side. Is a pain to get to, but is not difficult. Just be careful in putting in the new core as the metal is soft and can easily crack.I have a 1996 ford explorer with a bad heater core and water pump?Any auto parts store will sell you a manual for your year and model. The ford dealership will have one that you may have to order that should be more detailed for your specific year and model. Have you done an online search? Alot of info on the web just takes time to fiind it.I have a 1996 ford explorer with a bad heater core and water pump? The best bet is to pay a dealership to change the heater core.. because those can be a ****** to take apart and re-assemble especially if it has an AC system...

Some water pumps are easily taken off and put back on... buy a water pump and just read the directions usually included in the box...

How much does it cost to run my electric water pump a month.?

I live in the country in Wisconsin. The house that I rent has another house next to it. Our electric well pump feeds both properties. Two people live in my small two bedroom house, the neighbor house pays the elctriciy for the pump. How much do you think that it costs per month? How much does it cost to run my electric water pump a month.?about $149 per month

Can we run a compressor water pump driven by diesel engine to fetch water from bore wells?

I started a orchard farm, waiting for electric supply. Till the time I want to pump water from a300 feet bore well to grow life fencing plants, water level is in 70 feet. so want to use a compressor pump as there is no electricity how can I use diesel engine to drive the compressor instead of eclectic motor. Can we run a compressor water pump driven by diesel engine to fetch water from bore wells?you could certainly put a generator on the diesel, ......

you'd have to be way more specific about what you're trying to do to get a useful answer.

you can't draw water up 70'

    you have to push it.

you can only draw 30' or less. Can we run a compressor water pump driven by diesel engine to fetch water from bore wells? If the compressor pump is a rotating type, there should be only minor problems having a diesel to drive it. Be sure the diesel drives the compressor in the correct rotation, the speed should be constant. If it's an indirect drive, the speed of the diesel vs the speed of the pump can be changed by using different size drive and slave pulleys, or link drives. Can we run a compressor water pump driven by diesel engine to fetch water from bore wells?New Mexico Farmers use irrigation pumps like that. They are auto engines running natural gas to turn a pump. You should have no problem. Just do as someone said and make sure it is turning the pump in the right direction. Can we run a compressor water pump driven by diesel engine to fetch water from bore wells? What everyone is trying to say is that you're going to need a submersible pump, one that will hang on the end of the pipe going down into the well. The pump can be driven by an electric motor or by means of a driveshaft from the engine to a gear box to change the rotational direction 90 degrees.

You need to talk to someone who knows what they're doing when it comes to designing irrigation systems and sizing pumps. Pumps have different pumping curves, which will give a person the amount of water it can move at so much head. In your case, you're going to have a minimum of 70 feet of head just getting the water out of the well. Additional head results from the friction of water flowing through the pipe. The diameter of the, it's length and the amount of flow determines the additional head. You can convert head into pounds per square inch of pressure by dividingit by 2.31. The pump is going to have to work against 30 psi just getting the water to the top of the well plus additional head in the pipe..

If you're in the US, try your local University Extension, Natural Resources Conservation Service or Soil %26amp; Water Conservation District. The last two will be listed under governmnent and USDA. Pump supplier can provide pump info and pipe resistance, but you need to figure out how much flow you need before the pump man can recommend a pump. Can we run a compressor water pump driven by diesel engine to fetch water from bore wells?yes a compressor can force water to the top of a well. You put a device on the bottom in the water and force air down and brings water up. Check a rural water well supplyCan we run a compressor water pump driven by diesel engine to fetch water from bore wells?1 with both engine and compressor bolted to the same bed connect the compressor shaft to the diesel engine drive either by direct coupling or ofset a belt drive between the two. Suggest the rpm ratios are the same.

2 put your supply pipe to the farm down about 100 feet into the well, or longer if you can.

3 insert the air supply pipe from the compressor some 5 feet down the bore

    3. seal around the pipes and the bore hole, expander tube like a bike or car tyre wraped around and inflated hard.

4 If it blows out put some concrete on it to hold it down after doing 3 again

5 start your compressor / diesel and raise around 100psi and water should flow into your garden

6 as the water level drops in the bore raise the air pressure.

How to install a recirculating hot water pump in your house so you don;t have to wait for hot water?

like do you put the pump into the return line to the house or into the line going into the hot water heater or a web site I can go that explans it or has a viedoHow to install a recirculating hot water pump in your house so you don;t have to wait for hot water?a recirculating hot water system requires a loop. pipes running from the hot water tank

to all the outlets, then back to the tank, then a short pipe feeds to the faucets, so your talking about a lot of expense,

plus the pump. not cost effective unless there is a long run for the hot water,How to install a recirculating hot water pump in your house so you don;t have to wait for hot water?I just put one in my home and did not use a pump. Mine is strictly gravity. I cut into (with a tee fitting) the present hot water feed line at a point which was farthest from the water heater and then bring a new line back to and teed into the drain at the very bottom of the heater. I put a shut off valve in the line just %26quot;up%26quot; from the new tee near the drain so it can be adjusted or shut off if needed. (Mine is open and has been since I installed it) Some systems may require a check valve in the new return line on the horizontal part of the return line near the water heater. I put one in but it wouldn't allow my system to work so I removed it and all is well now. All you are doing is making a loop so the hot water is always circulating from the heater thru the feed lines and when it cools a bit it returns by gravity to the tank. This is the very best thing I have done in many years. This gives you Instant hot water and no pumps, no electric use. You can read about this system on the web. Just Google for it. Good luckHow to install a recirculating hot water pump in your house so you don;t have to wait for hot water?First question would be, do you already have a loop system in place? If you do have a loop system, the pump is usually installed at the bottom of your water heater in place of the boiler drain, pumping into the water heater. Very Important is to also have an expansion tank installed, in case there is a pressure build up in your line. Best thing is to have a plumber properly install this setup.

If you do not have a loop system, there is a way to create a hot water loop system. A company called GRUNDFOS has created a circulating pump that attaches onto the hot/ outlet side of your water heater. Then at the lavatory or faucet, furthest away from the water heater, a bridge fitting is installed, turns the cold water line into your return water for your water heater. Now your hot and cold water are acting as your hot water loop. When cold water is needed, turn on your faucet and wait for the hot to flush out. The circulating pump also has a timer, so you can set pump for peak use time.

Check out www.grundfos.com.How to install a recirculating hot water pump in your house so you don;t have to wait for hot water? What you want is a tank less hot water heater. These are expensive to say the least. I cannot think of anything else that would meet your requirements to date.

How can you calculate water pump capacity for a jet boat?

I need to know how many litres per minute a jet boat pump is outputting. I know that the outlet diameter is 28mm and the thrust is 5kg. Power source is 2x7.2V 3300mAh batteries. How can you calculate water pump capacity for a jet boat?It depends on how you are figuring out the thrust, how much current your motor draws, or its efficiency. If you knew the wattage your motor uses and it's efficiency you could just calculate using the formula for pump head.

How do i know if my car water pump is working?

My 93 Ford t-bird over heats and i really don't know what could be the problem, the radiator is working fine, and also the fan and the thermostat, i don't think is a head gasket because the oil looks alright with no contamination and there is no steam coming from the exhaust im beginning to suspect the water pump but the weep hole is not leaking. So does a water pump MUST leak from the weep hole if it is bad, or it could be bad and not leak? thanks in advance...How do i know if my car water pump is working?the water pump might be bad, it won't let the coolant to circulate. or you might have an air pocket in the coolant, that is the great possibility, you need to bled out that air. check the auto manual first before you start that service, all cars are different setup. and to check the water pump if it works, let it run and hold the upper coolant hose for few minutes and let someone to help you to watch the gage if its going to the hot zone, the hose you just holding should get hot even if there is air pocket. then you will know the pump is working. check the botom hose also,to check if the coolant circulate . If it wont get hot the botm hose , you might have a restriction in the engine block. checked also the fan clutch if you have one. Jesus is good . only God is good. How do i know if my car water pump is working? My husband says: If it has a clutch fan, the clutch could be bad; the impleller in the water pump could be bad or broke and to check and make sure your belt is not slipping. Hope this gives you some ideas! How do i know if my car water pump is working?Water pumps fail with some regularity--you can expect to replace yours sometime before 100,000 miles, if not sooner, and here's how to do it.Step2Locate the water pump pulley. The pulley is the round part that the belt is attached to. To find it, look for the belts. You will see more than one pulley. Your car will have an alternator with a pulley and perhaps an air conditioner power steering and smog pump pulleys. If you are unsure, ask your mechanic to point out the water pump pulley.

Step3Grab opposite ends of the round pulley and check for %26quot;play%26quot; (looseness): Try to rock it back and forth. There should be no give. If there is, the bearings are going and it's time to replace the water pump. By the time you can feel play in the water pump pulley, you may also be able to hear the bad bearing when the engine is running - there may be a low-pitched grinding noise coming from the water pump pulley.

Step4Visually check the water pump (it's located behind the pulley) for signs of a coolant leak. If the water pump gasket is leaking, it must be replaced. This is a good time to get a new water pump, too, unless it was just recently replaced.

How do i know if my car water pump is working? It doesn't have to leak from the weep hole to have a bad shaft bearing in your pump. This won't affect your pump's ability to create a flow. Warm your car up and see if coolant ever moves or if it just stays put or comes out of the cap. You may just have a bad thermostat or a clogged radiatior (internally clogged). How do i know if my car water pump is working? Does the heater work? I would think if it does then the pump is pumping and maybe a flush would help..Are the radiator hoses ok, not collapsing?. Maybe a good bet to find a good diagnostic shop. Good luck. How do i know if my car water pump is working?Check the radiator for debris trapped in the cooling fins. This happened to me when I had an overheating problem in an '84 Trans Am I once owned. The debris was trapped between the radiator and the A/C condenser, so I didn't see it. Once that was sorted out, the cooling system worked great. How do i know if my car water pump is working?with car running. look inside radiator. if the water is running like a river. than your pump is working. How do i know if my car water pump is working?when does it overheats? when you're in stop %26amp; go traffic or when you drive on freeway? if you're in stop %26amp; go traffic it maybe an auxiliary heater resistor that got blown and doesn't engage second radiator fan. if you're driving it on freeway it it may be a water pump bearing went out or you may have air inside your cooling system. i'd start with the resistor.

How do you know if you need to replace the water pump or the radiator?

Two months ago, my father replaced my radiator and now, for the past two weeks, I have to constantly fill the coolant with water. How do you know if you need to replace the water pump or the radiator? All of the answers thusfar are accurate. There has to be a leak for your coolant system to lose coolant/water. If you're refilling your radiator, you need to make sure to have the right mixture of coolant and water. It should be half and half. Check the hoses to make sure they were tightened up after the radiator was replaced. There is a small hole (weep hole) on the water pump that will show a coolant trail if it is leaking. If the radiator was only replaced two months ago, I'd ask the placed that did the replacement to check for leaks. There should be a warranty for the radiator or the work done. I'd start there since it hasn't been very long. The longer you wait to have them check it out, the more likely they won't be as helpful. You need to show the problem right after the work was done or they'll assume you simply had another problem start up later. A pressure test is the best method of locating one or more coolant leaks, but if it's a hose it should be readily visible.

I hope this helps. How do you know if you need to replace the water pump or the radiator?Look for a leak, probably a small leak. That's the only way an otherwise normal cooling system can lose coolant. Look for leaks around the upper and lower radiator hoses, heater hoses and the drain valve at the bottom of the radiator on the side that faces the engine, or a loose or ill fitting radiator cap.

The cooling system is a sealed system, that is all the coolant you put in the system at the beginning of the year should still be there at the end of the year. It won't boil off because water under 15lbs pressure won't boil until 357F. Now, if you car overheats, yes, some of this water can boil off.How do you know if you need to replace the water pump or the radiator?

Have it pressure tested and repaired. Do not let that engine

overheat or even run hot for that matter.

It does a lot of damage..

    Fix it ASAP ..

You're not blowing white smoke out the exhaust are you ?

Hope this helps...How do you know if you need to replace the water pump or the radiator?when checking for leaks be sure to check underside of water pump...there is a seep hole there that when pump fails water seeps out...also if you hold fan blades and shake them back and forth, not turn, if you feel looseness the pump may be brokenHow do you know if you need to replace the water pump or the radiator?suggest to find the leak. Suggest that First step would be to check the ground where the car is parked and go from thereHow do you know if you need to replace the water pump or the radiator?water pumps usually leak from the weep hole under them and make a noise and radiators don,t make noises.

If the engine was not disturbed you may be able just to put the belt back to your marks but if it doesn't fire (start up) you will need to tear it all apart and align everything99 dodge intrepid need to set the gears, timing chain after replacing the water pump? You need to get a manual that has the timing chain diagram. These aren't hard to do and they are even easier to screw up. If you have the timing only two teeth off you will bend valves when you turn it over so you need to be exact and correct the first time. I highly recommend using some sort of diagram. I still do after doing them for twelve years and it helps big time. Also there are plated links on the chain that should aid in the timing alignment. Pay attention to where they go. Good luck.

How do you build a water pump?

I need information about basic water pumps. I'll have to build a mechanical one for school. Do you have any ideas, information, designs, links? Thanks! How do you build a water pump? There are a number of different types of pumps (and some overlap between types, too).

A suction pump basically %26quot;sucks%26quot; water up. This might be a piston pump, or a venturi pump (or some other types). This type of pump raises water up by lowering the air pressure above the water, and letting atmospheric pressure push the water up the tube. Suction pumps can't pull water up more than about 32 feet (because that's how high atmospheric pressure can lift a column of water) but they have the advantage that the pump can be located at the top of where you want the water (rather than down where tie water is).

A %26quot;Lift pump%26quot; basically uses mechanical force to raise water upwards. This could be a chain of buckets, or an Archimedes screw, or a %26quot;bubble-lift%26quot; pump. All these pumps need to have at least part of the pump down at the water level (with the exception of the %26quot;bubble lift%26quot;, which is kind of a unique design).

The most common water pumps are centrifugal pumps. These use a set of spinning vanes to pressurize the water. Water comes in at the center, and hit spinning vanes; these shove the water outward through centrifugal force, and the outlet pipe is at the outside edge of the circle.

One other interesting type of pump is the %26quot;hammer%26quot; pump. It's sometimes used in remote farming areas, because you can use the energy of a running stream to pump water high up a cliff. In a hammer pump, you let water flow through a relatively long tube. The tube has a vertical pipe near it's end. You let the water run through, and then suddenly close off the end of the pipe. The momentum of the water (combined with the fact that water isn't very compressible) can force a %26quot;shot%26quot; of water very far up the vertical tube.

Hope this gives you enough to search for on the web!How do you build a water pump?A very simple and old design for a water pump is called the ball-chain or bucket-chain pump.

I need to make a human powered water pump?

So I need to make a human powered water pump... Does anyone know how to make one? Any websites that could show me would be nice.

    MORE DETAILS:

The pump is on the ground...it needs to pump water from a reservoir into another reservoir that is two meters high and two metres across from where the pump is... The pump needs to be handheld too. What should I use and any good plans on how to make it?I need to make a human powered water pump? The simplest manual pump is the lever-arm pump. This is just an elongated cylindrical reservoir, a valve casing, and a pump chamber in a linear arrangement. A piston within the pump chamber is connected to a link, and a handle which is used to pump the water.

You can make a simple one by converting an ordinary bicycle pump. Attach an input hose to the air inlet, and an output hose to the pressurized air output for the tire.

A good way to develop plans on how to make it would be to visit your local sporting shop or auto parts shop and look over their pumps.

How does a hydraulic ram water pump work?

These pumps were built over 100 years ago to move water using only the natural forces generated by the falling water through a pipe. How does a hydraulic ram water pump work?Try this link there is a simple picture and an explanation.

http://www.lifewater.ca/ndexram.htmHow does a hydraulic ram water pump work? The water must have some elevation drop... the RAM is made of several valves (check %26amp; clack) and a pressure tank. The water flows down into the pump through a pipe, and the flow closes the clack valve... the water then builds pressure, which forces some water up through the check valve (output). When the water pressure reduces to a certain point, the check valve closes, the clack valve opens, and it all starts over again! For a RAM to work, you have a certain percentage of water loss. We've used this type of pump for irrigation purposes, and it does work pretty nicely. How does a hydraulic ram water pump work?In the oil business we called it the hammer effect.

we have tanks about 700 ft. above the ocean. we had a small leak so they turned the valve off at the tank.there was another valve on the beach which they closed. This is a 36 in. line . all the repairs complete they opened the valve at the tank, not knowing that the oil had pulled a vacuum on the line before they closed the second valve . so when they opened the tank valve the oil rushed down and with the vacuum it accelerated and blew up the second valve. How does a hydraulic ram water pump work?It creates a pressure difference forcing the ram one way or another by attempting to compress something that is uncompressable, such as a liquid. How does a hydraulic ram water pump work?Water is allowed to build up some speed in a pipe. Then a valve suddenly stops the flow. Since the water in the pipe had some momentum, it doesn't want to stop so quickly and you get a spike in the pressure. The high pressure that develops allows some water to go through another valve and push upward to a higher water tank.

Note that only a small percentage of the water gets pushed up to the high pressure (high elevation) tank. So you have to have ample water. Also the water has to have a little motion to it. You can't build one of these pumps near a stagnant pond or slow moving river.

How do you increase pressure and adjust differential on water pump?

Have a old pump connected to the well with not enough pressure and it tends to drop real low before kicking back on. There is two springs with screws going through them to adjust tension on spring. One spring is large and the other is small, both are place above an metal plate in which it looks as if the spring push against it.

I am not sure which one will increase pressure and which on is the differential, as well as, which way to turn them.

This is an old pump settiing on top of a small tank. I have primed pump accordingly and have ran all new pipe. So no leaks are visible. How do you increase pressure and adjust differential on water pump?#1 is the nut on the larger post. #2 is the other nut.

Turn #1 CW to raise cut on %26amp; off pressures.

Then turn #2 CW to raise cut off pressure only. How do you increase pressure and adjust differential on water pump?YOU HAVE A JET PUMP. THEY ARE JUNK. THE SWITCH IS PROBABLY A 30/50 SWITCH. LOOK UNDER THE COVER IT TELLS YOU WHAT IT IS. FIRTS T SET THE PRESSURE YOU NEED A WORKING PRESSURE GAUGE IN THE SYSTEM . ONCE YOU HAVE THAT YOU CAN ADJUST YOUR SWITCH. START BY ADJUSTING CUT OUT PRESSURE.OPEN A FAUCT AND GET PUMP TO KICK ON.AFTER IT STARTS,SHUT FAUCET SEE WHAT PSI IT KICKS OFF AT. TURN CENTER SCREW CLOCKWISE TO INCREASE PRESSURE TO THE MAXIMUM PRESSURE OF SWITCH. ONCE YOU GET THAT SET THEN ADJUST CUT-IN PRESSURETURN ON FAUCET SEE WHERE PUMP STARTS IF IT STARTS LOWER THAN CUT-IN PRESSURE TURN CLOCKWISE IF STERTS HIGHER TURN COUNTER CLOCKWISE.
