How do I use a battery powered 120V timer to control a 220V water pump?

Currently, water pump is on 110V, but the pump will work better in 220.

Problem is, if I put the pump to 220, it can no longer be plug into the out door timer now doing the timing for it.How do I use a battery powered 120V timer to control a 220V water pump? You can also try a 110 vac solid state relay which will be controlled by the timer, when the timer turns on the relay it switches the 220 to the pump.
