How Can I Test to see if my Intex water pump is working correctly?

How does the pump work? I see air bubbles in the hose that is pumping the water out ..is that normal? How can you tell if it is pumping enough water out? First time pool owner so any answers would be great....How Can I Test to see if my Intex water pump is working correctly?Air bubbles coming out a pool return constantly is usually caused by loose hose fittings on the suction side of the pump, a pump lid not properly secured, a pump drain plug not tight or something partially interfering with the pump suction and causing cavitation. Take your pick. It'll be one of those, you'll just have to eliminate them one by one.
