If there is no way to repair it, where can I buy a new one, in L.A.?Hi Chris, Are you a complete novice in regard to fish keeping? If so I recommend you immediately join a pond forum %26amp; tell them your dilemma. You will then be dealing directly with experts %26amp; as well as probably being able to give you a 'quick-fix' to maintain the ponds stability temporarily they should be able to help advise with your mechanical problems as well. The link below has some you might try-good luck. How do i fix my koi pond water pump?? If there is no way to repair it, where can I buy a new one, in L.A.?Dear Lord have mercy for the Fish! I'm not sure what you mean you think the pump went out. Did it or didn't it. Have you looked at the pump. Does the filter need cleaning. Does it have a filter? For now I'd try to remove some of the water and replace it with new water. Visit a petshop that has knowledge of ponds for instructions on how to take care of it or get rid of it and give the fish to someone who has a pond.

It you want the pond you'll have to get educated on how to care for it and the fish. Hey have you tryed to contact the old owners-maybe they can tell you. Good LUck!How do i fix my koi pond water pump?? If there is no way to repair it, where can I buy a new one, in L.A.?Is it really broke or is it clogged or unplugged or did you blow a circuit? Have the size of the pool handy or bring the old pump with you!How do i fix my koi pond water pump?? If there is no way to repair it, where can I buy a new one, in L.A.?Where are you in LA? I'm in West LA. I go to a few stores around here, but Home Depot or OSH has a lot of pond pumps in many various sizes. Ponds are a lot more self-sustaining and long-term than aquariums and can %26quot;suffer%26quot; through more %26quot;adverse%26quot; conditions than an aquarium because they have the outdoors and the earth and the natural environment to help sustain and maintain them. For instance, which would die sooner without water? A potted indoor houseplant or a plant outdoors in the ground? Also, while it is unattractive, the green algae is not harmful to the fish. In fact, it makes for a little bit of good munchin' for the goldies. That said, getting some circulation in the pond would be nice, so get to HomeDepot or OSH as soon as you can. This water is going to be nice and cycled, so don't mess with it very much. Don't take out all of the water in an effort to clean it. Just add some detoxifer and then top it off with water from the hose. If you need to get rid of the algae, just do some scrubbing, but leaving a little bit is actually good for the pond. How do i fix my koi pond water pump??
