How to install water pump in a 98 landrover discovery??

I have already taken out the waterpump but it seems to be attached to the fan, and for some reason I can not take them apart...any suggestions on what I need to do?? Or where can I find a manual at?? I have looked online and can't fina a site that shows the steps on how to install a water pump..if you know of one that would be great too!
