How much would it cost me to replace a water pump on a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire?

Over the summer there was a leak in the coolant tank which caused my car to overheat resulting in me having to replace the head gasket... now I assumed that the problem was resolved but my car is now leaking coolant and i was told that the water pump was the problem .... I just need a rough estamiteHow much would it cost me to replace a water pump on a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire?PROB ABOUT 300 ON THE CHEAP END.How much would it cost me to replace a water pump on a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire?Well, a shops markup will put the part price around $50 or so, and labor about $150, total around $200How much would it cost me to replace a water pump on a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire?Depends on what size engine you have, and the labor rate of the shop you go to. If you have a 2.2L engine, around 300-350 dollars. If you have the 2.4L engine, it will be much more, around 500-650 dollars. How much would it cost me to replace a water pump on a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire? It was the water pump the whole time my car is the same way it had been leaking coolant slowly and now a lot and I need a new water pump but I don't let it overheat I keep water in the car beacause as long as water is in it it will cool the motor... But get it fixed asap I am also. I woul advice you to get a water pump and while your at it get a new timing belt also and call around for the cheapest price because everyone charges different but MEXICANS fix cars well and there pretty cheap it shouldn't cost more than $200. But I have mechanics in the family that fix my car for a lil of nothing and maybe some1 u no know some 1 who can do it because the waterpump and timing belt alone shouldn't be more than $70.

Goodluck!
